The Honda MR50 is a mini version of the Elsinore, an off-road cycle manufactured in Japan. It was first imported to Australia before making its way to the United States in 1974. Production only lasted until 1975. This bike has a 49cc air-cooled two-stroke engine with a 3 speed manual transmission. All 1974 models had orange fenders and an orange fuel tank with a black stripe and pinstripe. This “Baby Elsinore” was modeled after the CR125 and CR250 Elsinores, which also had big knobby tires and spoke wheels. The MR50 is quite a collector’s item and can be found on display in over 20 countries.
