Honda CX500 Turbo
The Honda CX500 Turbo is a futuristic looking motorcycle with a turbocharged V-twin engine. It has a top speed of 121mph and its claimed power is 82hp at 8,000rpm. Honda was fighting to stay relevant in the early 1980s, and showed that they were capable of engineering a bike that had never been seen before, and in 1980, the nearly finished CX500 Turbo went on display at the Cologne International Motor Show, even though it was not yet ready for the market. Although other manufacturers had tried to create a good turbocharged engine, the CX500 Turbo was, by far, the most successful of its time. The cutting edge design paired with the exciting turbocharged V-twin makes this bike an impressive piece to our collection.
